Bees and Honey Enthral Years 1 and 2
Our thanks to Mr and Mrs Kay, who visited school to talk to Year 1 and 2 about beekeeping.
They showed the children what a beehive looks like, how they manage the bees, check and harvest honey, and finally, how they prepare the honey in jars.
This was a super opportunity for the children to enhance the learning they have been engaged in as part of their topic.
