The Local Governing Body provides challenge and support for the work of the Headteacher and Staff and reports directly to the Board of Trustees. Its primary purpose is to ensure the highest quality of educational provision. By performing effectively, the Governors provide continuous challenge for all staff in order to ensure the highest possible outcomes for every child in school.

  • Staff governors are nominated by the staff
  • Foundation governors are nominated by the PCC and approved by the Diocese
  • Co-opted governors are nominated by the Local Governing Body

All nominations are approved by the Board of Trustees.
